Valentis welcomes Dr. William Spencer as advisor, instructor, and part of its special event team
July 20, 2021 (Pittsburgh, PA)— Valentis is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. William Spencer as part of its team. Dr. Spencer will be tasked to serve in various advisory roles, as a member of the Valentis special event incident command team, and course instructor on select curriculum at the Valentis Academy. Dr. Spencer has served in the field of public safety and administration since 2001 within multiple disciplines at various levels of government. Dr. Spencer currently serves as the Deputy Director for an emergency management agency. Dr. Spencer is also a career educator and subject matter expert in Homeland Security, Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, and Public Administration. Spencer is a former law enforcement officer and a commissioned intelligence officer in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.
Dr. Spencer role will be to help create curriculum for the Valentis Academy to better serve private sector clients who desire to improve emergency preparedness. Spencer will be tasked to serve as incident commander on select large scale events on behalf of Valentis and its clients.
