Valentis Welcomes New Director of Global Operations
December 6, 2021 (Pittsburgh, PA)- Valentis, a defense and risk management firm, today announced that John G Yunk III has joined the company as its new Director of Global Operations. Yunk retired, in October 2021, from the Pennsylvania State Police after serving the Commonwealth for 27 years. His final rank of Captain and last command was the Director of the Tactical Operations Division for the Bureau of Emergency and Special Operations. Before that, he held operational command over two PSP stations (one was the third busiest in PSP for incidents), the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Intelligence Division (including Domestic Security Section), and supervised the Ballistics Section within the Bureau of Forensic Services.
Yunk brings operational command and experience that best positions Valentis for a long-term growth strategy focused on global expansion. Yunk will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Valentis Operations Section. This section of Valentis includes uniformed security, special events, internal employee training, investigations and intelligence, and the protective security operations that provides service to the federal government and commercial clients whose assets are considered critical infrastructure or other unique scenarios.
