Tall Ships America

The largest sail training association in the world.

Lead Security Planner: We are responsible for all of the planning, operations, and after-action processes that involve security and safety. Our security planning includes developing counterterrorism strategies for both shoreside and waterside threats. We also provide training to the tall ship crews on Canadian maritime laws.

Incident Commander: We are the designated incident commander during any Tall Ships America event and manage all assets until there is an emergent incident requiring a transfer of authority. We manage the entire security project which includes all Federal, State, and Local public and private sector stakeholders. Our engagement takes us around the country wherever the tall ships sail.

Explosive Detection: During 2019 Tall Ships Erie, the Valentis Explosive Detection K9 was part of a counter IED task force that was comprised of Federal and City bomb technicians.

Special Events & Local Fairs

Lead Security Planner: We develop the Incident Action Plan and security plan for each event designed to support the event organizer's mission for a secure event. Additionally, we provide all armed & unarmed uniformed security, canine services, and unmanned aircraft systems (drone) services according to the needs.

Incident Commander / Unified Command: We serve as the Incident Commander / Unified Command during the real-world event until such time that an emergent incident requires a transfer of authority. Our joint operations operate in lockstep with law enforcement and emergency response agencies, so that event organizers can focus on their event without concerns of public safety..

Highmark Stadium

Located in Pittsburgh, PA, Highmark Stadium is the homefield for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, a professional minor league soccer team. It is also a venue for concerts and other events. Events in 2019 included Toby Keith, Sammy Hagar, Pittsburgh Taco Festival, and Four Chords Music Festival

Lead Security Planner: We are responsible for all of the planning, operations, and after action processes that involve security and safety at the venue. We develop security plans for each event, provide all of the security staffing which includes canine services (explosive detection and patrol), and plainclothes support.

Incident Commander: We serve as the Incident Commander during all special events and large crowd soccer games.

Training: We provide training to Highmark staff orientating them to the Emergency Action Plan and facilitate an internal Tabletop Exercise for preparedness to their staff.

Sandcastle Waterpark

Located in West Homestead, PA, Sandcastle is a 67 acre waterpark that provides several water attractions. Sandcastle also hosts special events, such as concerts and festivals during their operational period each year.

Security Planning: We developed the Emergency Action plans and Security Plans. Additionally, we provided all armed and unarmed uniformed security and other security assets for the daily operation, including special events.

Training: We trained all staff on emergency preparedness and emergency response as it relates to safety & security and the waterpark's operation.
