  1. Can you tell me about your professional background and how your experience has shaped your approach to business development? 

     

    I bring over two decades of diverse experience in the security services industry, complemented by a strong foundation in sales and marketing. My career journey began with hands-on roles in security operations and private investigations, where I developed a deep understanding of client needs and the complexities of security challenges. This foundational knowledge has been crucial as I transitioned into business development, enabling me to identify and address the unique requirements of clients across various sectors.

    Throughout my career, I have held significant roles in security management and consulting, where I successfully built strategic partnerships and crafted tailored security solutions that drove revenue growth. Additionally, my work as a business consultant allowed me to engage with Fortune 500 clients, enhancing my ability to analyze complex business challenges and develop tailored strategies. I learned to navigate the intricacies of large-scale projects, ensuring that client expectations were not only met but exceeded.
     
    This experience reinforced the importance of not only meeting immediate client needs but also cultivating long-term relationships based on trust and reliability.     Valentis has significant opportunities to expand its market share in the Southwest Region, particularly through strategic partnerships and innovative service offerings. The company is well-positioned to enhance client relationships by focusing on tailored solutions that address specific industry challenges. As the security landscape evolves with increased demand for technology integration, Valentis can position itself as a leader in providing advanced security solutions, particularly by leveraging innovative technologies such as Drone Security, Mobile Surveillance Units (MSUs), and Robotic Guard Units (RGUs). Additionally, the rising need for Corporate Executive Protection, influenced by the current civil and political climate, presents an area where Valentis can differentiate itself. By positioning the company as a leader in these advanced security solutions, we can effectively meet evolving client needs and drive growth in our business development program.

    My primary focus will be to establish a strong understanding of Valentis’s current offerings and market positioning. Building relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, will be essential for identifying opportunities for collaboration and growth. Additionally, I aim to develop a strategic business development plan that aligns with Valentis’s goals and addresses the specific needs of clients in the Southwest Region.
