MILTON, PA – On April 10, 2026 Valentis Group, Inc., a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania based security firm, will visit the Crossroads Church of the Nazarene, located at 71 Nazarene Lane, Milton, Pennsylvania, for the first of a three-part security and emergency response team training series.
Stephen Sutch, Chief Management Officer for Valentis Group, Inc., will lead lecture-based session Friday evening focusing on the fundamentals of church emergency response teams, emergency action plans, and legal aspects. Church members interested in being part of the team will have the opportunity to ask questions to seek further clarification of the importance of such a team to be present within the church during Sunday services and various special events. This training will be followed by hands-on security tactics and firearms training later in the year, also to be instructed by Valentis Group, Inc. As part of the overall training program, UPMC and William Cameron Engine Company will be providing medical and fire extinguisher training at a later date.
